Symptom
Admin runs the Learning Plan Report and notices that it is populating the remain days column for a completed item.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to the Learning admin side >
- Search for the affected user ID and open the profile >
- Go to Assigned Items >
- Change the View filter to All or Completed Items >
- Find the affected item >
- Note that the field "Days Remaining" is counting the days the user has to complete the item despite the fact that the user already completed the item.
Cause
This happens when an admin manually sets a required date for the item on the user assigned items after it has been already completed.
For any completed assignment, the required date is reset to empty (not just curriculum assignments) and when and admin update it, the days remaining begins to calculate again.
The admin can take the same steps to remove it and it will reflect to the report.
Resolution
- Navigate to the Learning admin admin side >
- Search for the affected user ID and open the profile >
- Go to Assigned Items >
- Change the View filter to All or Completed Items >
- Find the affected item >
- Click the required date field and delete the value >
- Save.
