2828533 - How to Deploy ThemeDesigner.war file on tomcat?

Symptom

  • Starting SAP BI 4.2 SP07, Themedesigner.war file is bundled to the installation package.
  • Theme Designer can be used to create a new theme or to customize the existing view of the Fiorified BI Launchpad.
  • While using wdeploy commands to deploy ThemeDesigner.war, it fails with the error: “APP property not set. Please set APP property to the application you intend to use (DEP00103)”
