2828563 - Proxy Import error: Bad Column in import file :6

When trying to perform a Proxy Import, customer is receiving a notification saying the proxy failed due to the error: Bad Column in import file :6.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Admin Center;
2. Go to Proxy Import
3. Choose the file you prepared to import;
4. Submit the import;
5. Receives the error: Bad Column in import file :6.

This error means that there is some error in the way the columns are configured in the file. It can be related to:

• Missing a column;
• Different order of the columns;
• A new column manually added by the customer.

To make sure the file is configured correctly to be imported, we always recommend downloading the CSV template available in the Proxy Import page. This template file always will be the correct way the columns should be configured in the file in that moment. Our system is always improving and receiving updates where some columns can be added or deleted.

1. Go to Admin Center;
2. Go to Proxy Import;
3. Click in the link "Download a blank CSV template".
