2828717 - Validation Error with Chinese/Korean/Japanese Characters in Compensation Plan Formula - Compensation

• The system throws a validation error when we try to use Chinese/Korean/Japanese characters in a formula in compensation.
• Validation Error: compConditionObject.condition.

• SAP SuccessFactors Compensation
• SAP SuccessFactors Variable Pay

1. Configure Chinese/Korean/Japanese characters in the formula field for a column in compensation and save.
2. Returns a validation error.

The system is working as designed and this is a limitation with current capabilities. The JEXL library that we use does not support Chinese/Korean/Japanese characters.

There is no fixed that is planned or can be completed at this time. Please avoid using these types of characters in the formula fields for compensation.
