2828877 - Not Possible to Limit the Column Width on Auto Adjustment of Table Column Feature

You have enabled the Auto Adjustment of Table Column Width in Fiori Client and noticed that some columns are too large.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Click on User menu. 
2. Select Settings.
3. Go to Company Settings.
4. Check the option Enable Auto Adjustment of Table Column Width in Fiori Client.

This feature will auto adjust the column width based in the text inside of it.

If you populate a field with a large note inside of it the column will auto adjust to the size of the text and may cause a large horizontal scroll.

It is not possible to limit the column width globally when this feature is turned on.

If you have Notes/Texts fields in the columns we recommend to keep this feature disabled:

1. Click on User menu. 
2. Select Settings.
3. Go to Company Settings.
4. Un-Check the option Enable Auto Adjustment of Table Column Width in Fiori Client.

This company setting is not supported in Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge browser (version < 16).
