2829404 - How to check the IP Range of the tenant based on Data Center in SAP Business ByDesign and SAP Cloud for Customer

Symptom

IP Range of the tenant can be used for IP whitelisting which depends on the Data Center in which the tenant is placed.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

  • SAP Cloud for Customer
  • SAP Business ByDesign

Resolution

  1. Go to Service Control Center Work center.
  2. Go to Systems view.
  3. Select the tenant for which you need to know the IP Range as shown in the below given screenshot.

Once you click on the "?" button, it will direct you to a document which has inbound and outbound IP Addresses. You can check the IP Range for your tenant based on the Data center.

Note: In some cases, the Data center displayed in the system will be an abbreviation of the real data center location, for instance if the data center is displayed as FR4, then the location will be Frankfurt.
