2829451 - Forward propagation is not happening in Custom MDF Object

• Customer inserts a new record in a custom MDF object on a certain effective date but the values added/ updated do not forward propagate to future records within the same custom MDF object
• Is forward propagation supported in custom MDF object?

Step 1: Create a record for custom MDF Object with a certain effective date (i.e Effective date 08/15/2019)

Step 2: Insert a new record with effective date 10/01/2019 and change any value within the object (i.e. The updated value is only for externalName from Test1 to Test2)

Step 3: Insert a new record in between of Step 1 and Step 2 with effective date of 09/01/2019. This time try to edit/update and field value (i.e edit to add value to field Dalida from blank to Test)

Step 4: Go back to 10/01/2019 record to validate if the value for field Dalida forward propagated from the record created with effective date of 09/01/2019.

Validation Result: Field value for Dalida did not forward propagate.

This is working as designed. The forward propagation of data is not supported for custom MDF Objects, this is only supported on pre-delivered Objects in which ForwardPropagation processor is attached.
