2829481 - Unable to Perform a Change of Stock

You want to perform a Change of Stock, but it is not possible due to error: "No matching inventory items found".

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Internal Logistics work center.
2. Go to the Change of Stock common task.
3. Select the Site XXX (XXX represents the Site ID).
4. Select the Product XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID).
5. Enter the Product Quantity in which you want to perform the Change of Stock.
6. Select the Logistics Area ABC (ABC represents the Logistics Area ID).
7. Check the Inspection box.

You notice the error "No matching inventory items found".

When you make a Change of Stock, if you let the “Inspection” box enabled, the system will search only for Products that are under inspection.

If that is not the case for Product XYZ, the system will not be able to find the Product.

1. Go to the Internal Logistics work center.
2. Go to the Change of Stock common task.
3. Select the Site XXX (XXX represents the Site ID).
4. Select the Product XYZ (XYZ represents the Product ID).
5. Enter the Product Quantity in which you want to perform the Change of Stock.
6. Select the Logistics Area ABC (ABC represents the Logistics Area ID).
7. Let the Inspection box unchecked.
8. Click Next.

In case you want Product XYZ to be inspected, in this step you check the “Changed Inspection Status” box. In this way, system will consider that the Product XYZ is now under Inspection.

Please note this will happen only for the Product Quantity that you have entered in the previous step.
