2830187 - Return Code -1 on AlertConsumerJob

You have configured the AlertConsumerJob to send an email when an error occurs on your SAP Netweaver Process Integration System.

When the error occurs, the Job does not send an email and you can see that the AlertConsumerJob is in the ERROR status, with the return code -1.

In the Default trace, you can see the following error at the time the email should have been sent:
An exception occured.
