2830844 - Survey question and answer text value are not translated

You have translated questions and answers survey text values. When you run the report Visit Survey: Answers (QREVQVVISITHJ_Q0001), you notice that the values of those fields are not translated.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the work center Surveys.
2. Open any survey.
3. From the tab Details, click the global icon to maintain the languages to be used for translation.
4. Click the tab Design and translate the text value for the questions and answers.

Now log in to the system with the desired language.

1. Go to the Business analytics work center.
2. Go to the design report view.
3. Open the report Visit Survey: Answers.

You will notice that the surveys questions and answers value text are not translated. If you open the value help and add the value in the desired language, you get the following error message:

Value ABC does not exist for variable XYZ. (ABC stands for the long text you entered in the selection, and XYZ stands for the variable name.)

The translation of language dependent texts in the report selection is not supported for now. All values that are saved in the selection are fixed in a report, it does not change based on the language.

This is the system behavior and this scenario is applicable in dashboard as well.
