Symptom
When performing a catalog search for "Instructor-Led" items and checked the box to "show courses with online content", the results of that search yield all instructor-led courses, whether or not they have online content.
Environment
SuccessFactors Learning Management System - LMS
Reproducing the Issue
1.) On the user's Learning Plan, click on browse all courses to access the Catalog
2.) Under Refine By > Category, select Instructor Led (by default, show courses with online content is checked)
3.) Notice that all instructor-led courses are showing - whether or not they have online content.
Resolution
As per our Product Management, the behavior of the functionality is given below:
Under the "Instructor-Led" tab in catalog search, there are two check boxes:
◾Show courses with online content
◾Scheduled courses only
By default when the page is loaded the first checkbox (Show courses with online content) is checked and all the courses (instructor led courses as well as online courses) are listed. If we uncheck the 'Show courses with online content' checkbox, the courses with online content are removed from the list.
If we check the second checkbox (Scheduled courses ONLY) , as the checkbox name suggests, ONLY scheduled courses are displayed.
Though the two checkboxes have a difference in behavior, this difference in behavior is intended.
