2831103 - G/L Accounts are Missing on Financial Statements Report

You are running the Financial Statements report and the 'Property, Plant and Equipments' section doesn't show G/L Accounts.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Reports view.
3. Open the Financial Statements report.
4. Enter the relevant Selection.
5. Click Apply.

Here you notice that the 'Property, Plant and Equipments' line has no G/L Accounts.

There is no G/L Accounts under 'Property, Plant and Equipments' because these G/L Accounts have no postings for the selected Company and selected Fiscal Year.

You can check that by executing the 'G/L Accounts - Line Items' report and selecting one of the G/L Accounts that you expected to see under 'Property, Plant and Equipments'.

Since no postings were done, no records are returned. If relevant postings are present, then the Financial Statements report is expected to show this balance in the same Fiscal Year.

This is the designed system behavior, as system will only show the G/L Accounts that have postings for the relevant Company and Fiscal Year.
