2831458 - MDF translatable field does not follow the editability set by UI Rule

• MDF translatable field is editable even if the field is set as non-editable by UI Rule and vice versa.
• MDF translatable field doesn't follow the condition set by UI Rule.

1. Navigate to Manage Configuration UI
2. Create a UI by adding name and the Object e.g. Position
3. Set the editability of the translatable field to NO
   
   
   
   
4. Add a UI Rule that sets the editability of a translatable field to Yes base on such condition
   
   
   
   
5. Do a test according to the condition of UI Rule
6. Noticed that the field is editable but the translation is not
   
   

Translation follows the configuration of the field itseld in Manage Configuration UI.

The editability of the translation of field is depending on the configuration of the field itself in Manage Configuration UI. If the field itself is configured as editable then the text fields for translation will become editable and vice versa and it will not follow the UI Rule.

If this is needed for the business requirement of the customer then enhancement request should be raised. Please follow KBA: 2090228
