2831965 - Values in the Insurance Plan field not showing when editing the benefit enrollment object via Benefits Admin Overview.

A customer has a requirement wherein they need their HR people to be able to edit Benefit Enrollment and change the insurance plan of the employee via Benefits Admin Overview page. Upon changing the value of the insurance plan of the employee no insurance plan is showing however if you go to the Benefits page (PP3) the value of all insurance plan is being shown.

Editing Benefit Enrollment via Benefits Admin Overview

1. Go to Benefits admin overview

2. Search for the benefit enrollment that was created for the employee you are trying to edit.

3. Click on the insurance plan and you will see that no value will appear on the field.

Editing Benefit Enrollment via Benefits PP3 Page.

1. Go to the profile of the employee.

2. Go to the Benefits Overview Section.

3. Click on the Go to benefits button.

4. Go to the insurance section and click the pencil icon.

5. Change the Insurance plan field and you will see that all available insurance that the subject employee is eligible to will appear.

As per our engineering team this is is an expected behavior. In the benefits admin overview page the system will check if the login user is eligible for the insurance plan, If in the case that login user is not eligible for the insurance plan then no insurance plan will appear in the Benefits Admin Overview page.

In the Benefits PP3 Page, the system will check the eligiblity of the subject user not the login user, that is why the eligible insurance plan will appear in the option when editing the benefit via the Benefits PP3 page.
