2832213 - Error "Data error in dimension, please correct the data" occurs when editing currency conversion table in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Symptom

When trying to save, modify or delete a row in a currency conversion table the error "Data error in dimension, please correct the data." or "error(setDecimal): 1000013 - not a valid number string" appears and it is not possible to save the changes to the currency conversion table.
