2832524 - How to find the Required Authorizations for an SAP Fiori App

It's not clear how to find the authorization information needed for particular Fiori applications so that user restrictions can be maintained.

How to.

Refer to the SAP Fiori Apps Reference Library to find out what Business Catalogs are needed to use a particular app. The numbers in the following screenshot correspond to the instructions below.

 

1. In the search bar, enter the name of the app for which authorizations are needed.
2. In the product selector, choose SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
3. Choose the Implementation Information tab.
4. In the release selection, choose the required release (for example, SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2402).
5. Choose Configuration to find the business catalogs or business roles required for this app.

Once the required authorizations have been assigned to the user, the app will become available on the SAP Fiori launchpad.
