Symptom
We are unable to change benefit enrollment date for several enrollments.
The effective date (July 22, 2019) of this enrollment cannot be before the current enrollment effective from date (August 26, 2019). Please contact your administrator.

Reproducing the Issue
Go to Manage Data -> Benefit Enrollment -> search for enrollment of desired user
Make correction-> Change “Effective From” Date to a past date value than it’s current value.
You’ll receive a validation message for example: The effective date ({0}) of this enrollment cannot be before the current enrollment effective from date ({1}). Please contact your administrator.
Resolution
It is expected system behavior.
- Benefit enrollments once already enrolled cannot be changed to a past "Effective From" date.
- That is, once the enrollment is created, effective date cannot be changed.
- During the enrollment time (creation time) only, we can select a past or future "Effective From" date value instead of current date (click date) value.
- From Manage Data, admins can change the existing enrollment's "Effective From" date value to a future date. Any deductions records if exists needs to be taken care.
