2833601 - The kernel does not match the mimes version. Installation is damaged.

Symptom

When the user tries to open the app "Set Global Parameters" the following error is displayed:

"The kernel does not match the mimes version. Further proceeding will result in unpredictable behavior. Installation is damaged."

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud All Versions 

Cause

After S/4HANA Cloud product upgrade/Hotfix Collection old cache will not be flushed from the browser cache.

Resolution

  1. Go to your browser settings.
  2. Clear browser cache.
  3. Close all open browser windows.
  4. Then try to open your system url and run the procedure.
