2833821 - Only one child question is appearing in a multi-level cascading question on Career Site - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When using cascading pre-screening questions of 3 levels or more, the first parent/child question and answer are working as expected, but any subsequent nested parent/child questions do not.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Apply for a job with cascading pre-screening questions.
  2. Select an answer to the initial question.
  3. The first parent/child question is displayed, but the subsequent nested parent/child questions are not.

Cause

The career site wrapper generated from the Recruiting Marketing (RMK) career site currently does not support Multi-level cascading pre-screening questions.

Career Site Wrapper – When Mobile Apply is enabled, the career site wrapper, which is a page generated from the Recruiting Marketing career site, wraps (contains) the Recruiting Management Application and Profile screens. This wrapper lets you experience a consistent look, feel, and branding across multiple pages.

Resolution

This is currently considered an expected behavior due to a limitation of the career site wrapper with RMK integration. For non-RMK sites, one possible workaround is to disable 'Manage Recruiting Sites > Enable Mobile Apply' to use the default recruiting career site UI.

Note: Mobile Apply must be enabled for Career Site Builder career sites to work properly.

Please also note that if you have Quick Apply enabled on a requisition, then you will notice that the multi-cascading questions do work as Quick Apply is based on the principle of Non-Mobile Apply UI. Customers who have mobile apply enabled, should not configure this for any type of applications.
