2834033 - Position Relationship as "Approver Type" is not working during position creation Workflow

If Position relationship has been used for triggering workflow/alert during position creation/edition, it does not create workflow/alert for Position Relationship.

  • Position Management

1. Create workflow/alert for position creation using "Approver type" as Position Relationship.
2. Select Context= Source.
3. Make the necessary changes to trigger the workflow in position creation/edition.
4. System will not trigger workflow/alert for the Position Relationship you selected.

This is caused by the settings of the workflow approval step using Context= Source.

In order to trigger a workflow to a Position Relationship on creation of a Position, you must maintain the following settings on the approval step:  "Context" = Target and "Relationship to Approver" = Position
