2834659 - Validations do not work on editable worklists

Business object validations are not respected in editable worklists but work fine in the thing inspector.

As an example, we are using the Tickets view. The same behaviour applies to all areas.

Prerequisite: you have configured an error message for a validation via Rule Editor.

1. Navigate to the Service workcenter.
2. Go to the Tickets view.
3. Open any ticket.
4. Click edit and make changes to any field where a validation has been maintained.
5. Click save.
6. You can see the configured error message being triggered.
7. Navigate back to the Object worklist (OWL) and clik edit.
8. Make changes to the same field and click save.

The error is not triggered.

Complex key features like the Rule editor, Model validation etc. are not yet available for the editable OWL (on any business object). Even the instance level properties are not supported. For now only column level properties like visible and read only properties are supported.

This is the expected current system behaviour. This will be improved upon within future releases. Our Product Support cannot provide you with any dates on future releases.
