2834884 - Inactive Job Profile still appears active when creating a Job Requisition in Recruiting

Symptom

After inactivating a Job Profile in Admin Center > Manage Job Profiles tool, it's still showing in Recruiting page, when creating a requisition using browse Families and Roles.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
  • SAP SuccessFactors Job Profile Builder

Cause

The system creates a copy of the existing Job Profile, for the sole purpose of a Job Requisition (that can happen to all the JPB objects, not only Job Profiles).

Copied Job Profiles will have the subModule information "RCM". Therefore, Job Profiles flagged with subModule "RCM" will not display and cannot be managed under Manage Job Profiles, as they are only used specifically in Job Requisitions.

Resolution

To prevent inactive Job Profiles from appearing in Recruiting, you need to inactivate them in Manage Data, by following below steps:

Search for the Job Profile with the subModule "RCM" and inactivate it.

  1. Go to the Admin Center > Manage Data;
  2. In the first search box, select the JPB entity corresponding to what you are inactivating, and search for the item name in the second field;
    NOTE: The Job Profile with the subModule "RCM" is the one still showing in Recruiting.
  3. Select Take Action > Make Correction;
  4. Change the Status to Inactive;
  5. Save Changes.
