2834967 - WebGUI and WebDynpro applications do not open in the correct system after S/4HANA 1809 upgrade or installation

Symptom

WebGUI and WebDynpro applications do not open in the correct system, and may give an error like:

  • "Transaction <ID> is unknown"
  • "Web Dynpro application <ID> does not exist"
  • "500 Internal Server Error"

These applications may have worked correctly in prior versions of Front-end Server, but fail after upgrade to S/4HANA 1809 or higher.
