2835025 - ABAP Dump in Create Credit/Debit Memo Requests in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When creating a credit/debit memo request using the app Create Debit Memo Requests - W/o Preceding Document, an ABAP dump occurs upon clicking Save.

Error Message Snippet from Dump:

"LV_MESSAGE = Enter rate / USD rate type M for 09/04/2019" in the system settings.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

This issue occurs because the Currency field for the Sales Area in the Customer Master Data is not filled out.

Resolution

  1. Open the Manage Customer Master Data app.
  2. Select the respective customer.
  3. Navigate to the Sales Areas tab and choose the relevant sales area.
  4. Go to the Sales Area Details tab.
  5. Locate the Currency field and enter the appropriate customer currency.
  6. Click Save.
