2835031 - A HTTP 500 error is occurring when logging off from the Enterprise Portal (EP)

• During Portal logoff, a HTTP 500 Internal Server error or Portal Runtime Exception is occurring for request: http(s)://<host>:<port>/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead.LogOutComponent
• Upon checking the developer/default trace files, you observe a recording similar to the below:
