2835524 - How Does the Revert Button Work in a Calibration Session?

Symptom

  • When "Enable Fiori Restyling for Calibration" is enabled in Manage Calibration Settings, the Revert button is visible in a Calibration session.
  • This article explains how the Revert button works in a Calibration session.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open a Calibration session (in which you have write permission to make changes)

2. Make a change in the session.  See example below: Actions > select "Mark as Discussed"

3. Click on the "Revert" button to undo the change made (before you click Save):

Resolution

  • The Revert button functions the same was as the Cancel button did in the Legacy Calibration UI.
  • The Revert button will only become available once the user has made a change in the session.
  • It can be useful if many changes are made to multiple session subjects' data, and the session reviewer decides they need to undo all of the data changes prior to saving.
  • It is not possible to permission this button or remove it from the session.
