2836016 - Application error when creating benefit reimbursement

Symptom

You are trying to create a reimbursement and when trying to save an application error is presented.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - Global Benefits

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Benefits Admin Overview;
  2. Start the creation of the benefit;
  3. Select the benefit type as Reimbursement;
  4. Fill all the sessions;
  5. Try to save and get an application error;

Cause

Pay component field is not visible or inactive.

Resolution

  1. Go to Configure Object Definitions
  2. Search for the object "BenefitPaymentOptions";
  3. Check the field "payComponent"

This field must be Active and Editable.
