2836064 - Instructor's name not showing on Certificate of Completion

Symptom

When generating Certificate of Completion, the Instructor's name is not present in it.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into HCM > navigate to the Learning homepage >
  2. Access the Learning History and search for the item form which the certificate is needed for >
  3. For the required item, click on 'View Certificate' >
  4. The certificate is generated, but the instructor name is blank.

Cause

The user has completed a free-floating item.

Resolution

The INSTRUCTOR_NAME syntax tag will only be populated for items which were completed through Classes.
