2836612 - Delivery address shows unexpected country description in output.

Symptom

A Purchase Order has a Delivery address (receiving address) and a Supplier address (sender address) in different countries with different languages. The purchase order output is issued in the Supplier’s language. In this scenario, when the output is issued, the country of the Delivery address appears in an unexpected language.

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create a Purchase Order.
  2. The sending company is located in France for example.
  3. The Delivery address is located in the UK for example.
  4. Save the Purchase Order.
  5. Navigate to the Output.
  6. Issue the Output to the screen.
  7. The Delivery Address is in English, but the country displays as 'Royaume-Uni'

Cause

The receiving address has to comply with international postal regulations. These rules state, that the 'Country' of the Delivery address, needs to be in the language of the sender, so that the local postal service can clearly understand which country a document should be send to. The rest of the address has to be in the language of the receiver, so that the local postal service in the recipient country can read and process it further.

Resolution

Standard system behaviour.
