2836996 - How to test https connection for SAP Note download after the execution of task list SAP_BASIS_CONFIG_OSS_COMM configuration

Task list SAP_BASIS_CONFIG_OSS_COMM (according the SAP Notes 2827658 or 2793641) was used to setup/configure the new https based Support Backbone Communication connections. One of this configured connection is used by Note Assistant transaction.

To check of SAP Note Assistant Tool (SNOTE) uses https connection for downloading notes the following steps needs to be performed.

It is strongly recommended to use the report ‘RCWB_TCI_DIGITSIGN_AUTOMATION’ from the latest 22th version of SAP Note 2836302. With this report, you will be guided through the steps that will enable your system for TCI and Digitally Signed SAP Notes to do all necessary steps. (SAP System with higher, newer SAP Basis SP levels already contains 22th version of the SAP Note, where the execution of the report still recommended. The SAP Note 2836302 contains the list of the SP levels, which have the 22th version.)
