2837010 - SSL endpoint does not match server certificate DNS names

Symptom

Connection from SAP Cloud Connector(SCC) to SAP BTP Cloud Platform fails, and the following error is logged in the SCC trace file (ljs_trace.log):


   #/ executes /configuration with action 'getAccountsData'|
   #ERROR#com.sap.scc.rt#http-bio-8443-exec-7#         
   #Tunnel account:///<account details> connect failed com.sap.core.connectivity.tunnel.client.ssl.TunnelClientSSLHandshakeException: SSL endpoint does not match server certificate DNS names
