Scoping Question 'Do you use customer projects (without sales integration) with an automated project invoicing process?' does not show in the system.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the Implementation Project and click on Edit Project Scope button.
4. Click on Next button until you reach Step 4 'Questions'.
5. Expand: Project Management > Project Planning and Execution > Projects.

 In the Group: Project Types, question 'Do you use customer projects (without sales integration) with an automated project invoicing process?' does not show in the system.

The scoping question 'Do you use customer projects (without sales integration) with an automated project invoicing process?' is obsolete and cannot be used anymore.

Instead, direct cost projects ('Do you use projects for direct costs?') can be used. As customer projects ('Do you use customer projects with an automated project invoicing process?') are already in scope, the direct cost projects are without sales integration.

Here the steps to activate the scoping question 'Do you use projects for direct costs?':

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the respective Implementation Project and click on Edit Project Scope button.
4. Click on Next button until you reach Step 4 'Questions'.
5. Expand: Project Management > Project Planning and Execution > Projects.
6. Select the question 'Do you use projects for direct costs?'.

Once this is selected, you should be able to create projects without sales integration.
