2837400 - NetWeaver Java Crashes with OOM. Leak suspect: "java.lang.ref.Finalizer"

Symptom

AS Java crashes with exit code 666 to indicate an out of memory error:

"java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
Dumping heap to OOM.hprof ..."

Having analysed the heap dump by following this KBA or an other similar method: How to self analyze a Heap Dump using MAT. In the leak suspects following can be observed:

"The class "java.lang.ref.Finalizer", loaded by "<system class loader>", occupies 0.000.000.000 (00,00%) bytes.
