2837731 - Error when trying to copy a position: Code is a required field/association in Object Position - Employee Central

When trying to copy a position via Position Org Chart system throws following error:

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Position Management

1. Go to Position Org Chart
2. Choose a Position
3. Click on Copy Position on the Position quickcard options
4. On the Copy Position screen click Ok

Result: The following error occurred while the position was being copied: Saving the position failed: Code is a required field/association in Object Position.

Your system is configured to create the Position codes based on a business rules, however this rule is attached on Initialize Rules section on Position object definition and this is not supported.

1. Go to Configure Object Definition
2. Searc/Find for Position object
3. Click to Make Correction
4. Roll until the end of the page and find the rule which set's Position codes
5. Put that rule as Save Rules
