2837763 - How to generate ASE_RDDB license? - SAP ASE

• When creating database with DURABILITY option:
• at_shutdown or
• no_recovery
  
  create database test_RDDB on data1 with durability=at_shutdown
  
  create database test_RDDB on data1 with durability=no_recovery
  
  
• The ASE_RDDB license is in 'grace' mode in ASE errorlog
  
  SySAM: Checked out graced license for 1 ASE_RDDB (2018.1129) will expire Sat Dec 07 15:50:12 2019.
  SySAM: Failed to obtain license(s) for ASE_RDDB feature from license file(s) or server(s).
  SySAM: No such feature exists. Verify that a license containing the feature name ASE_RDDB is available or generate and deploy the license from the SAP Support Portal.
  
  or
  
  
• The command fails when the ASE cannot provide a grace license
  
  Msg 16063, Level 16, State 5:
  You cannot run 'CREATE DATABASE WITH DURABILITY=at_shutdown' affecting database 'test_RDDB' because the ASE_RDDB license is either not available or has expired.
