2837781 - Error: URL is malformed when setting Dynamic Base URL of Web Service REST datastore - SAP Data Services 4.2

Symptom

  • There is '-' (hyphen) in Dynamic Base URL.  For example, http://abc-defg.net:8080.
  • When editing the Dynamic Base URL in Web Service REST datastore, the malformed URL error occurs.
  • An error occurred while importing metadata: Url <http://abc-defg.net:8080> is malformed.  Make sure the URL contain only ASCII characters and is valid. (BODI-1111469)
