SAP SuccessFactors Goal Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Populate the goal import file to perform a Beta Goal Import to assign or share a Team goal.
Example: Assign a Team goal
- Import the file
- The GM Import Mail contains a message stating that the import was not successful.
Row Number: 6
Processing Error: Parsing Validations:
1 Invalid ID/GUID, please provide a valid value for at least one of these 2 fields (in case of ID is provided, GUID will be ignored)
GM Import Total Item: 0
The user performing the Goal import is not the Team Goal creator or owner.
The ID populated in the ID field is not the Master Team Goal ID.
- Only the Team Goal creator or owner (user to whom the Team Goal has been shared) can assign or share the Team Goal.
Beta Goal Import format for assigning or sharing a Team Goal
To find the Master ID of the Team Goal, you must report on the original goal created by the Team Goal Creator (the user that created the original goal).
For example, the highlighted column below shows the original Team Goal created by user sfadmin has a Goal ID of "8209" which has been automatically assigned by the system upon creation.
This goal can be identified as the master team goal as the Master ID column displays "-1".
In the Beta Goal Import file, if you wish to assign or share the Team Goal, then the Goal ID of the original Team Goal must be populated in the ID column of the import file.
