2838478 - No Payment Cards in Sales Quotation in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

  • There are no fields for entering credit card information in a quotation
  • There is no copying control customising available to copy credit/payment card details from a quotation to other sales documents

Reproducing the Issue

When Using the Sales Quotation App ID F1871

  1. Open the Sales Quotation App
  2. There are no fields for entering credit/payment card details

When Checking the Sales Documents Copying Control SSCUI's

  1. Open the SSCUI 103089 - Sales Order Management and Processing - Define Data Transfer and Copying Rqmts for Sales Document 
    1.1. There is no copying control available to copy credit/payment card details
  2. Open the SSCUI 102905 - Sales Order Management and Processing - Set Copying Control: Sales Document to Sales Document  
    2.1. There is no copying control available to copy credit/payment card details

Resolution

In the standard system payment cards cannot be entered into a quotation. It is also not possible to create a custom copy control to copy payment cards between sales documents for security reasons as well as to ensure the wrong card isn’t charged.
