2838602 - When editing a value assignment from the property tree, the value disappears after the data is "Saved"

Symptom

1. You access transaction CG02 to edit a value assignment in the property tree. After editing the value and clicking "Save", the new value disappears.

or

2. The numeric values of a characteristic in CG02 is displayed in float format, whith different number of decimals maintained by user.
