Symptom
In the Application Status Audit Trail portlet, there are two entries for the "New Application" status in the same data. One change shows the User as "System System" and the other shows the actual User who did the change.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP Successfactors Recruiting Management
Cause
This happens when a Job Application is forwarded to the Job Requisition and later on added using "Add to Requisition" or another similar feature.
While the Job Application is added into the Job Requisition, two entries are created in the Status Audit Trail database table. One entry should be corresponding to the "New Application" status and the User who did the action, and the other entry should correspond to the "Forwarded" status, while the Job Application wasn't yet added to the Job Requisition, however, the "Forwarded" entry gets the status replaced by the "New Application" status label.
Resolution
The duplicated entry should cause no warn to the Job Application, or the hiring process.
The behavior is being considered by Product Management team and should be changed within future releases. As of now, there's no estimated time when the changes are going to be delivered.
Note that it's not possible to delete the duplicate entry.
