2838857 - How to set Condition Values for Boolean Data Type in MDF object

Symptom

You want to create a Conditional field in your MDF object such that based on selection of one field, other fields appearance occurs

Scenario -

You have two fields configured in your Position Object  as ConditionField01 and ConditionField02. You want ConditionField02 to appear only when the value in ConditionField01 is set to YES

Environment

SuccessFactors Employee Central

Employee Central Position Management

Resolution

  1. Naviagate to the field "ConditionField02" details and scroll to the bottom
  2. Enter the Field ID as "cust_ConditionField01" which is a custom field in the same object
  3. In the Condition Values, enter the value as "true". This is case sensitive field / condition.
