2838873 - Project is Not Available for Reporting

Symptom

You have created a project and now you are trying to extract the data for that project in report:"Project Plan Values". But in the value help of the report, you are unable to find the newly created project.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Project Management work center
  2. Select view: Reports-> List
  3. Search for the report: Project Plan Values
  4. Open the report
  5. Under the field Project, select value help and search for the newly created project
  6. The project is not available in value help

Cause

The Project is in "Started" status and not yet released.

Resolution

Kindly release the project first in order to extract a report for that project.
