2839702 - Involved Party in Sales Quote follow-up from Opportunity

You create a Sales Quote from an Opportunity and you want the current user to be the Owner of the Sales Quote. But it's always the Opportunity Owner that is copied into the Sales Quote.

However when you create a new Sales Quote, the Owner is entered as the current user as per the Involved Party determination.

SAP Sales Cloud

1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
2. Go to the Opportunities view.
3. Open any Opportunity.
4. Go to the Sales Documents facet.
5. Click New to create a new Sales Quote.

Result: the current user is being entered as the Owner.

For Opportunities the owner is always copied to the follow-up Sales Quote. There is no new determination in the Quote.

If you create a new Sales Quote - not as follow-up - the owner is determined according to BC FT for involved parties. Therefore you get a different behaviour.

This is the designed system behaviour.
