2840106 - Employee Responsible of Activity Task in Leads created by Workflow Rule

You want to create an Activity Task when a Lead is created and you use a Workflow Rule for that. You want to enter the Employee Responsible of the Lead as the Processor of the task automatically.

 SAP Sales Cloud

Prerequisite: a workflow rule that creates an activity task on Lead creation; the Recipient is entered as the Sales Employee Responsible.

1. Go to the Sales workcenter.
2. Go to the Leads view.
3. Create a new Lead.
4. In the new Lead, go to the Activities facet and find the Task that was created by the Workflow Rule.

Result: The Processor field shows the Sales Employee party from the Lead, not the Employee Responsible as expected.

Note: The Recipient of the workflow task is the Processor, not the Owner of the task!

The Recipient entered in the Workflow Rule = Sales Employee Responsible is the Sales Employee party in a Lead, not the Employee Responsible.

In order for the Employee Responsible to be entered as the Task processor, please select the Marketing Employee Responsible as the Recipient in the Workflow Rule.
