2840374 - Succession tab not available in Home Menu / Analytics

Succession tab is not available for users with limited access to Succession Management, with permission to access only the Matrix Grid Report feature.

1. In Admin Center > Manage Permission Roles(RBP), user has defined only the permission to access the Matrix Grid Report, and see succession data for target population:

2. When user tries to access the Succession tab, to open the Matrix Grid Report, the tab is not available in the Home Menu:

On instances using the old view of the Reporting tool (Analytics), users with only access to Matrix Grid Report will not be able to access the Succession tab, as Matrix Grid Report will be available in the Reporting tab.

To enable users with limited permission to Succession, to access the Succession tab in the Home Menu, it is necessary to enable the Report Center in Admin Center > Upgrade Center.

NOTE:

• Report Center is being automatically enabled in Preview environments since August 2019. Thus, you may see the Succession tab available for these users in your Preview environment, and not showing in Production. After Q4 2019 release, Report Center will be enabled in Production environments, as well. In case you would like to keep use the old view of the Reporting tool, until the automatic upgrade, users must access the Matrix Grid Report via Reporting tab.
• Matrix grid reports will no longer be visible/accessible from Reporting/Analytics tab after b1911 release as well.
