2841144 - On Navigating from Analytical Reports the Edit Button is Missing for Expense Reports

On navigating from any of the Analytical reports (e.g Expense Reports - Expenses and Reimbursements) the Edit button is missing for expense report.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Travel and Expense work center.
2. Go to the List subview in the Reports view.
3. Select Report (e.g Expense Reports - Expenses and Reimbursements).
4. Run the report for default parameters.
5. Select any Expense Report ABC (ABC is the Expense Report ID).
6. Click the Expense Report ID ABC and then click Go to View Expense Report.
7. In the expense report, click View All.

The Edit button is missing.

This is the expected system behaviour.

Analytical Reports are in general read only. It’s not desired to jump from there to an edit view where you can edit objects.

Therefore the navigation is called “View Expense Report” instead of “Edit Expense Report”.

You can edit the expense report as follows:

1. Go to the Travel and Expense work center.
2. Go to the Expense Reports view.
3. Search and select Expense Report ABC.
4. Click Edit.
