2841419 - Value Help can only display five columns

Symptom

  • A custom code list has been created with more than 5 fields
  • When Value Help is displayed for a field using this code list, only 5 columns are shown

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Resolution

  • By design, a maximum of 5 columns can be displayed in a Value Help
  • If specific columns are required, then the field can be reordered in the Code List to show the most important 5 fields first
