Symptom
Delay Disqualification Email Configuration is not respected by the system if the Candidates were moved via API.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Setting > Configure Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates (in hours)
- Select an Email Template for the Disqualification Statuses.
- Execute an API Job to move candidates to any Disqualification Status.
Result: Candidates who were placed in any disqualification status received the disqualification email instantly.
Resolution
