2841960 - Item certificate of completion does not bring class description

The item certificate of completion has the "Class Description" (SCHEDULED_OFFERING_DESC) tag in its HTML Markup, but when the certificate is generated, the class data is not present in it.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Log into HCM > navigate to Learning Administration >
2. At System Administration > Configuration > Certificate Templates >
3. Search for the required certificate and open it in edit mode >
4. Add the "Class Description" (SCHEDULED_OFFERING_DESC) tag in the desired area of the certificate > Save >
5. Make sure the certificate is linked to the required items >
6. Still within Learning Administration > People > Users >
7. Search and access the desired user > click on 'Action's > Launch Proxy >
8. Navigate to the user's Learning History >
9. Search for the required item and click on its certificate icon >
10. Notice that the "Class Description" details are not in the certificate.

This happens when the completion recorded for the user was not associated to any class. This can be verified at:

1. Learning Administration > People > Users >
2. Search for the required user and access its record >
3. Navigate to the Completed Items tab >
4. Search for the required item and click on its respective 'View Details' button >
5. If there is no Class ID, then the completion is not linked to any classes.

In the Learning admin side, it would be possible to:

Option 1:

1. Learning Activities > Classes > Search and access the desired class >
2. Record Learning > add the desired user to receive the completion > Next > Select the Status > Next > Next > Finish.

Option 2:

1. Users > Tools > Record Learning - Financial > Class >
2. Search and select the desired class > Select the Default Completion Status > Leave the desired user to receive the completion > Next > Next > Next > Finish.

Following either of the ways would lead to a completion given to the Learning user that is associated with a class (the completion entry will have a class ID related).
