How to configure Custom Generic Object Talent Pool Field in Job Requisition via Manage Template.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

The following steps are to configure the Object Talent Pool field into the Job Requsition:

1. Access Admin Center > Manage Templates > Recruiting Management > Job Requisition

2. Open the Job Requisition template you will add the Talent Pool object into

3. Click on "## Fields defined. Click to modify."

4. Click on Add then select Add custom field

5. Enter the information necesary for the field creation. Note that you can use the arrow buttons to reposition / change the order of the field.

6. Lastly, assign write and/or read permission to recruiting operators.

Result:

This functionality is strictly to store / associate a reference of a Talent Pool to a Job Requisition. In Job Requisition, operators granted with permission to edit the field will be able to select one talent pool from the list. With appropriate RBP permission, user can also create a Talent Pool using the + icon.

Once a Talent Pool is selected, a Card icon will appear:

By clicking on the Card icon, a pop up screen with details of the Talent Pool will display:

If Manage Templates feature is not currently enabled on the environment, kindly follow KBA: 2157630 - Enabling Manage Templates in Recruiting - Recruiting Management for activation. In case Manage Templates feature is not allowed in your organization, please reach out to your Implementation Partners to have those fields configured.
